About Us

Organized by Authentic Caribbean Foundation, the expo provides patrons with information about the wide range of products and services offered by business operators based in the Caribbean and its Diaspora, highlighting our unique influences in the arts, tourism, culture, cuisine and music. CTO member countries along with influential players from the hotel industry, the airline industry, attraction owners, car rental companies, and allied industries are being targeted to participate in this expo. This will also help with raising awareness of mentally disabled kids and kids with HIV/AIDS in the New England area and Caribbean.

Authentic Caribbean Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, based in Boston, geared towards transforming the lives of the Caribbean children impacted by disabilities, HIV/AIDS and their caregivers through health and educational support. To carry out this mission, we seek to bolster HIV/AIDS research in the Caribbean while at the same time provide support for institutions caring for affected children and adults in the Diaspora and the Caribbean.

Proceeds from this third annual expo will go towards the authentic Caribbean Foundation, Learning Disability Programs. Donate a book at the event for the Learning Disability Program for Kids.

Join us for our Mission

Learning Disability Program

The Authentic Caribbean Foundation Learning Disability Program is a project that provides assistance to families in the Diaspora who have a child with a disability and who are residents of the state of Massachusetts.

The Learning Disability Program offers assistance to facilitate a comprehensive evaluation of these children ages 2 to 15 years old to ensure their cognitive, academic and social development. The program provides each selected school with a grant scholarship to a Diaspora child to help towards implementing an individual program that caters to that child’s overall development.

Kids For Arts Program

The Authentic Caribbean Foundation Kids For Arts Program is a project that provides assistance in preserving the rich Caribbean folkloric arts and culture (dance, speech, performance) to kids in the Diaspora who are residents of the United States.

The Kids For Arts Program offers assistance to facilitate a comprehensive evaluation of these children ages 2 to 18 years old to ensure their academic and social development. The program provides training in Caribbean folkloric creative art, speech and dance, working with individuals, groups and selected schools in preserving our rich arts for the overall child’s development.

Pediatric Disability Equipment Supply Program

The Pediatric Disability Equipment Supply Program is a project by Authentic Caribbean Foundation through which medical equipment and supplies are made available to families in the Diaspora and the Caribbean who are unable to obtain the equipment and supplies necessary for the care of their children with disabilities.

We accept donation of new and gently used pediatric medical equipment from individuals and families nationwide who no longer require these equipment for one reason or another. These donated items are reconditioned, if required, and donated to families who are in need of such items both in the Diaspora as well as in the Caribbean. In addition, donated items are shipped to hospices, clinics and other not-for-profit organizations who provide care to children with disabilities in the Diaspora and the chosen Caribbean Islands.
